Bio: Abbie Cheng is an undergraduate senior graduating with a B.S, in Industrial Design with Herberger Institute for Design and Arts, and Barrett, The Honors College from Arizona State University. Throughout her time here at ASU she has received the IDSA Student Merit Award Finalist and will be representing ASU with her project. She was also both nominated and awarded the Design Excellence Award and The Moeur Award.
Abbie also took the opportunity to find internships that excites her, including her being at Benebone as an Industrial Design Intern, the i.d.e.a Museum, as their Exhibition Design Intern, for Cox2M as a Mural Designer, and currently working for Zero Waste Design Assistant at ASU.
With the amazing opportunities and experiences, Abbie has allowed herself to discover her passion within the pet industry, environmental design, and spatial design.
She will be following these passions and continuing her journey at The University of California, Berkeley with a major of Masters in Landscape Architecture.
As she continues her journey she strives to learn and utilize her skills in industrial design and her creative background to integrate innovative ideas and solutions that will change the world by design. She will also be exploring other aspects of the design industry, and use every opportunity to learn, master and ideate.
