Bio:

Samantha Delurgio is graduating from Arizona State University in May 2022 with a BSD in Industrial Design. In addition to her courses in Industrial Design, she has taken extra courses and electives focused on apparel construction as well as fiber and textile production. This has led her to pursue a career in the technical softgoods industry specifically within action sports equipment and attire.

In summer 2021 she was a design intern at Dakine where she assisted in the design of the brand's lifestyle and specialty backpacks and accessories. The skills she gained at Dakine have led her to her current job as a designer at a backpack startup titled NOMAD based out of Scottsdale Arizona.

When Samantha is not working on design projects she spends her free time outside open water swimming, surfing, skiing, rock climbing, or hiking.
