Maria Luisa Valenzuela

Luisa is a recent graduate of ASU. She received her Bachelors of Science in Design in Industrial Design while also minoring in Sustainability. Luisa is a born and raised resident of Arizona. For the first few years of her life she was raised in the small town of Guadalupe, before moving to Mesa and ultimately Tempe for College. She is not only creative when it comes to design but dance as well. She has been dancing all her life, from traditional Fancy shawl, to Ballet and Jazz. Dance is her favorite form of exercise. Luisa is also a strong leader. She had the opportunity to lead her sorority as president her senior year and learned skills in delegating, open communication, empathy and conflict resolution. Her plans for post graduation are to continue working on her portfolio and get a job relating to her degree. Here dream is to work in a design firm that design house wares.

CARE is a smart collar device and app that allows pet owners to track their pets activity thought the day. It is designed with the ability to store medical information which you can send give to the vet directly via the chip on both the device itself and the app.

HotCube is a drink warming device that functions the same way an Ice cube would. It uses the same technology as reusable hand warmers to heat up the cubes in a sustainable and electricity free way.

KETTLE is a kitchen appliance that can be displayed using the theme of Constructivism. Bold colors and shapes will be used to create a striking piece of art that serves a function in the kitchen.
